Pay: Starting at $25.60/hour (higher based on experience)
Schedule: Day shift position. Training may take place on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator to cut, shape, bend, weld, and assemble steel components using blueprints and technical drawings. This position involves operating fabrication equipment, performing quality inspections, maintaining tools and machinery, and following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Cut, shape, weld, and assemble steel components
- Operate fabrication machinery and equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 5 years of fabrication experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG, and ARC preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
