The Role
We're seeking a Senior IT Support Technician with 6+ years of IT support experience to support our clients' IT needs both remotely and on-site.
You'll provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile users, along with the applications and infrastructure that make up our clients' environments. You'll work across systems and networks to keep client computing environments running efficiently, and you'll recommend and implement corrective solutions. Strong customer service and clear written and verbal communication are essential.
What You'll Do
- Provide remote and in-person technical support to end users
- Set up and troubleshoot connectivity, firewalls, and networks
- Diagnose and resolve issues quickly, walking users through problems and following up to confirm resolution
- Support and maintain servers, networks, backups, and business applications
- Travel to client sites as needed
What You Bring
- 6+ years of IT support experience, including prior IT consulting and help desk work
- Expert-level understanding of servers, networks, backups, connectivity, and business applications
- Active Directory operation and troubleshooting (creating users, resetting passwords, adding/removing PCs from the domain)
- Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Routing, switching, and network security (firewalls, content filters); DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Networking hardware, cabling, testing, upgrading, and troubleshooting
- Network printers and computer hardware
- Microsoft Office applications
- Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus
- Reliable transportation to client sites; valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
