Kitchen Associate
Nova Farms has immediate openings for a Kitchen Prep Associate. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for our Kitchen. We are looking for one individual to join our first shift crew.
Please note that while this job description does give a strong overview of the responsibilities and tasking related to this position, additional duties can and will be assigned, based on business needs.
Shifts:
First: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities:
● Cleaning and sterilizing the kitchen and supplies
● Prepping kitchen equipment for processing
● Assisting in kitchen clean-up
● Prepping, sugar coating, and quality checking edible product
● Product packaging & general production support
● Processing products
● Labeling products
● Packaging orders for shipment or storage
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand and bend for long periods of time
● Must be able to work in varying temperatures
● May need to be able and willing to work overtime
● Ambitious team player, eager to learn and grow in the cannabis industry
Job Type: Full-time
Physical Demands:
May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance).
