Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) to join our dynamic team, committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate individualized behavioral intervention plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including behavior intervention plans for children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment strategies and measure outcomes effectively
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to facilitate consistent support across home, school, and community settings
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities in clinical or home-based settings
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), functional assessment techniques, and behavior intervention strategies
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data for progress tracking
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and medical records management
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and supporting neurodevelopmental disorders through diagnostic evaluation and behavioral health services
- Ability to perform behavioral health assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and conduct intake procedures effectively
- Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and foster positive relationships with clients’ families
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of sensitive medical information
- Experience working within school environments or providing home-based behavioral services is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision while maintaining a compassionate approach toward clients with disabilities
