Pay:
- $34/hour taxable
- $1,246/week tax-free stipend
- $2,606/week estimated gross
- $51/hour OT rate
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years of RN experience in an Inpatient Acute Psych setting
- BLS certification
- CPR Cert
- Active New York nursing license
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting.
- Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in physical and mental health status.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, or condition and report concerns appropriately.
- Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Provide patient education and support with treatment goals and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, providers, social workers, therapists, and other members of the care team.
- Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and applicable New York State regulations.
