Position Summary
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising second shift manufacturing operations while actively participating in machine setup if needed, troubleshooting production issues, verifying quality, and supporting production activities.
The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 5–15 employees and must be capable of leading by example in a fast-paced job shop manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of job shop manufacturing experience
- Proven supervisory and leadership experience
- Strong CNC machining and setup background
- Programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Inspection and quality verification experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to train and mentor operators and setup technicians
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
