Location: Office-based position — Parkersburg, WV
We are looking to hire a creative and reliable Social Media Creator / Manager, Video Editor, Photo Editor, and Content Creator to help create, edit, and manage content for our business.
This position is for someone who understands social media, knows how to create engaging videos and photos, and can show examples of their previous work. Applicant must have their own laptop and editing programs/software.
This is an in-office position. Work will be done from our office, and the right person must also be comfortable filming content on-site, taking videos, using video equipment, and helping create content for social media platforms.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating and editing short-form videos for social media
- Editing photos and video content
- Taking videos and photos of equipment, jobs, products, and business activities
- Helping plan and organize social media content
- Posting and managing content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms as needed
- Using video equipment, camera equipment, lighting, microphones, or similar tools
- Creating captions, basic graphics, and promotional content
- Keeping content organized and ready for posting
- Helping improve the company’s online presence
Requirements:
- Must have video editing experience
- Must be able to show a portfolio, examples, or previous work
- Must have your own laptop
- Must have your own editing programs/software
- Must be comfortable taking videos and photos
- Must understand social media platforms and current content styles
- Must be reliable, organized, and creative
- Must be able to work from the office
Preferred Skills:
- Experience editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook videos, or YouTube Shorts
- Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar programs
- Photography or videography experience
- Basic graphic design skills
- Experience creating content for a business
- Ability to write captions and simple promotional copy
- Interest in machinery, construction, equipment, or small business content
This position can be part-time or full-time depending on the applicant’s availability, skills, and fit.
