Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing and Communications Associate to join our amazing team!
Duties
- Website-Manage The Arc website, redesign the site and maintain it so that it is up to date, reflects current content and is a vibrant reflection of the agency which engages visitors and promotes the organization. Develop and regularly post new content. Design and implement the shopping cart function on the agency website for product sales. Manage the portals, forms, calendars and other functions. Optimize SEO search for website, design and help manage event websites
- Social Media- Manage the agency's social media sites including but not limited to daily posting for both educational information & agency promotion, manage and respond to messages and followers. Design Social Media campaigns to showcase the agency and engage and increase followers
- Develop and implement annual Communication calendar to integrate marketing and communications activities, capitalize on agency events and activities
- Attend Arc events and program activities, take photos and video for use in communication, marketing and education
- Maintain photo/video release database
- Develop photo library for marketing use
- Design, report, write, publish all agency newsletters including but not limited to: Employee Newsletter, Community Living Program newsletter, Agency newsletter and assist with programs ie day programs, camp. etc.
- Design and produce all marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, etc. needed for general marketing or specific projects or agency events
- Design, write and produce journals/programs for all events
- Create videos for Social Media, website, events, staff training and other agency needs, serve as liaison for any professional video projects
- Represent The Arc of Bergen and Passaic chapter on Arc or similar organization communication/marketing committees, liaison with Arc wide campaigns
- Create slideshows (Power Point or similar) for events, presentations as needed
- Manage agency list serve, create and disseminate email communication for events, action alerts, information interest to the Arc community
- Create and produce marketing materials for products for sale through Arc's vocational division
- Liaison with printing vendors or facilitate in-house publication of any communication, marketing or PR materials
- Complete any tasks related to Communication, Marketing and publicity as needed and or directed by agency
Competencies
- Excellent writing, creative design skills, social media skills across platforms, ability to design and maintain a website, knowledge of campaign development and implementation, understanding SEO optimization and search posting, ability to create marketing materials including videos which can be used across platforms
Proficiencies
- MS office, Adobe Creative Cloud especially Illustrator & Photo Shop with AI enhancements, Canva, Power Point and List serves needed. Publisher, Prezi, Constant Contact, Zix, Copilot and HTML helpful
Overview
- Design and implement the Marketing and Communication Program for The Arc including internal and external communicative public relations. Prepare all materials and documents needed for outreach, events and campaigns. Manage social media accounts, websites and list serves and any other electronic platform
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hackensack, NJ 07601
