Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer to join a dynamic real estate development team. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to develop comprehensive interior design concepts that meet project goals and client expectations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations using SketchUp, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Select and specify interior finishes, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and materials that align with design intent, budget constraints, and sustainability standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by creating schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Oversee renovation and remodeling projects from initial design through construction completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers on lighting sales, installation details, and construction processes to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues promptly, and ensure designs are implemented accurately according to plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer within the real estate development sector; local candidates preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), and CAD drafting tools.
- Solid understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, space planning, and material selection.
- Experience managing projects from conception through construction with excellent project management skills.
- Knowledge of contracts related to interior design work as well as renovation and remodeling processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to coordinate efforts seamlessly.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices for interior projects and the ability to manage costs without compromising quality.
