Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns to ensure timely intervention
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately while respecting patient privacy and complying with HIPAA regulations
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or hospice care is highly valued
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is advantageous
- Familiarity with care plans and HIPAA compliance is beneficial
- Previous roles involving caregiving for seniors or individuals with disabilities demonstrate your commitment to compassionate care
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care is a plus
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
