What You'll Be Doing
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you'll provide customized massage sessions based on each client's individual needs, preferences, and wellness goals while creating a welcoming and professional experience from beginning to end.
You'll also:
- Customize sessions based on each client's needs and preferences
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage and bodywork
- Build positive relationships with new and returning clients
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and professional treatment environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, management, and fellow team members
- Contribute to the overall flow and success of the spa as part of a collaborative team
- Help create an exceptional experience that keeps clients looking forward to their next visit
What We're Looking For
- Current Connecticut Massage Therapy License
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive team player who is willing to contribute to the overall success and day-to-day flow of the spa
- Knowledge of Swedish massage
- Additional modalities are a plus, including Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Craniosacral, and Reiki
- A genuine belief in the benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required. We offer flexible scheduling, but candidates should be available to work a combination of nights and weekends based on the needs of the spa.
