Overview:
Alloy Personal Training in Bearden is hiring substitute personal trainers to coach small group sessions (6 clients or fewer) and help our adult clients feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their daily lives.
This role is ideal for energetic, professional trainers who enjoy building relationships and delivering results. We work primarily with adults ages 40+, including beginners who are nervous about getting started—so empathy, encouragement, and great communication are key. This role includes the potential to transition to a regular part-time position in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Coach safe, effective small group training sessions using the Alloy system
- Build rapport and trust with members
- Track attendance and ensure proper movement progressions
- Provide motivation, support, and education to help clients reach their goals
- Follow studio procedures and contribute to a clean, professional environment
- Be a reliable and positive presence on the team
Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching or training (group or 1-on-1)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be punctual, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working with adults in their 40s–60s who may have limitations or low fitness confidence
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, or Saturday shifts
Preferred but not required:
- Personal training or group fitness certification
- Interest or experience in fitness sales or phone consultations (a plus!)
