Freedom Mobility Center is a Durable Medical Equipment provider focused on Power Mobility and Complex Rehabilitation with branch locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, Kentucky and also covering Tennessee and Virginia. Because of continued growth, they are looking for a talented Reimbursement / Billing Specialist to join our team.

Working directly with management and maintaining an active role in improving the collection process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Inquire to payers on outstanding receivables
- Submit appeals on incorrect payments when necessary
- Review daily reports on aging balances
- Internally post cash to accounts through Brightree billing software
- Work with management to acquire additional payer contracts
- Assist in insurance credentialing and maintaining current payer contracts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and accounting practices & principles
- Minimum one year related job experience
- DME Industry (specifically power mobility) experience is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
