Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated, honest, and skilled Construction Worker ready to learn our specialized trade (lightning protection) and build a career with our team. General construction knowledge is important, but we will provide job specific training to learn our trade. Our projects require traveling about 65% of the time with about 35% of them local. We work 4-10s, Monday thru Thursday. If we travel, we are only gone three nights, so our team gets a long weekend. CLP will provide all traveling needs, hotels, travel bonus pay, and a nightly per diem. Working at heights on roofs or ladders is a requirement. Working with tool bags on, hand tools, power tools, and light equipment is a requirement. CLP will provide all tools necessary to perform professionally. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and federal sites. Your energy, attention to detail, and honest communication will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Installer: lead a crew to setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Installer Helper: assist the crew to load projects, organize tools and materials, and follow directions
- Installer: read plans, perform field markups, read standard codes, execute project installations, record progress, take pictures, and communicate project details
- Installer Helper: install hardware under the direction experienced installers
- Installer: tool bags on and leading installations with hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
- Installer Helper: tool bags on and following installation directions with hand tools, power tools, and light equipment to learn quality craftsmanship
- Installer: maintaining a safe and productive work site, including PPE, fall protection, ladders, lift equipment, general construction protocol, organization, and working alongside other trades
- Installer Helper: completing tasks, staying on task, adhering to safety rules, and assisting the crew to the best of your ability
- Installer: attention to detail, responsible with good work ethics, communicate installation options with supervisor, study standards to learn installation codes, and ask questions during opportunities to learn in order to grow and advance
- Installer Helper: good work ethics, know when to ask questions for clarification, speak up when you need help, listen and execute tasks you have been entrusted to do
- Installer: valid driver's license with a gold star, planning tasks, and setting the example for safe productivity with high quality and a good attitude
- Installer Helper: know when to act or jump in to help while having a positive attitude
- Valid ID, birth certificate, and social on hand to access specific construction sites
- Perform some heavy lifting tasks and an ability to focus when detail is required
- Ability to perform in all weather conditions such as summer heat and winter

Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
