CAM Educational Services (CAM Edu) is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable Daycare & Afterschool Program Instructors to join our growing team in Rancho Cucamonga.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Lead age-appropriate educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Assist students with homework and academic support when needed.
- Facilitate afterschool enrichment programs, arts & crafts, STEM projects, educational games, sports, and team-building activities.
- Encourage student participation, creativity, teamwork, and positive social interactions.
- Foster positive behavior and support students' social and emotional development.
- Monitor student attendance and ensure safe student check-in and dismissal procedures.
- Support classroom management by reinforcing program expectations and positive behavior.
- Assist with snack distribution and maintain cleanliness during snack time.
- Prepare classroom materials, activity supplies, and equipment before each program session.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily program operations.
- Support students during transitions, outdoor activities, playground supervision, and dismissal.
- Adapt activities to meet the developmental and educational needs of students from TK through 8th Grade.
- Help organize special events, educational workshops, holiday programs, and seasonal camps.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, school staff, and fellow team members.
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and CAM Edu leadership.
- Follow all CAM Edu policies, district guidelines, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Program Manager or Site Coordinator to support operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, after-school program, summer camp, or similar educational setting preferred.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and team-oriented.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Background check and Live Scan clearance required before employment.
- Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate Teacher Permit, Teacher Permit, or other Early Childhood Education (ECE) certifications are highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
Schedule
- Part-time and Full-time opportunities available.
- Monday–Friday.
- Schedule may vary based on school programs and business needs.
- Opportunities to work in Daycare Programs and Afterschool Programs throughout the school year.
Compensation
- $22.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
