Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and preferences to enhance guest relations.
- Operate phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages promptly.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Assist in processing payments and maintaining the cash drawer accurately.
Experience
- Strong background in guest relations within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and effective communication skills is essential.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles will be beneficial for success in this role.
