Job description
R & S Rain Gutters is a growing rain gutter installation and service company located in Nampa, Idaho, and has served the Treasure Valley for decades with a heavy focus on quality and reliability for luxury and custom homebuilders, general contractors, and homeowners.
We are searching for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team. A strong work ethic and the ability to work on a team are essential to this job. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality installations that meet company and client specifications and standards.
Construction or gutter installation experience is preferred but not required. On-site job training will be provided.
Summary
As a Gutter Installer & Service Technician, you will be responsible for the safe installation and maintenance of rain gutter systems, ensuring proper drainage and protection for residential and commercial buildings. You will frequently utilize hand and power tools. Working on ladders and on top of roofs is also a large portion of this job, so being comfortable with heights is essential, in addition to understanding and consistently adhering to required safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of the job in a safe and responsible manner in alignment with OSHA and other relevant safety policies and regulations.
- Perform pre-install quality checks - ensure job site safety, that jobs are ready and prepared for install.
- Safely and properly install rain gutters using hand and power tools and other machinery.
- Consistently meet company and project needs and timelines.
- Proactively problem solve, address and solve challenges - work with management as needed.
- Manage materials including the submission and tracking of purchase orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine installation requirements and specifications as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly job sites at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment to the highest standard (vehicles, hand tools, power tools, etc.).
- Operate company vehicles safely.
- Provide consistent, professional, and quality customer service in person, over the phone, and written communications to builders, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage and submit reports/paperwork as required.
- Work multiple job sites around the Treasure Valley as needed.
- Participate in continuing education, meetings, learning activities, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
