Travel Medication Aide / CNA Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Certified Medication Aide (Med Aide) / CNA for a 13-week travel assignment in Miller, South Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for a healthcare professional who is certified to administer medications and can also provide hands-on CNA care in a skilled nursing/LTC setting.

Position Responsibilities
The Medication Aide/CNA will work in a skilled nursing/LTC environment and must be comfortable performing both medication aide and CNA responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer medications according to facility protocols
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures
- Support residents with compassionate, respectful care
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff
Qualifications
- Current Medication Aide/Certified Medication Aide credentials required
- Current CNA certification required
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Skilled nursing/LTC experience preferred
- Must be able to work as both a Certified Medication Aide (Level II) and CNA
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Schedule & Working Conditions
- 12-hour shifts
- Primarily day shifts
- Variable scheduling
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call or call-back requirement

Important Assignment Information
- 80-mile local radius applies
- Local placements have an adjusted rate
- GSS housing use may result in local-rate application
- No charge differential
- A $500 fee may apply if a clinician backs out or quits with less than 14 days' notice
- Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
