Advance-Esthetic is a leading provider of professional aesthetic equipment serving medical spas, dermatology practices, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic professionals throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced Repair Technician with a strong background in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated electronic equipment.
Position Summary
The Aesthetic Equipment Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, testing, and maintaining advanced aesthetic and medical devices. This position requires a highly skilled technician with experience working on complex electronic systems, power supplies, control boards, handpieces, laser systems, RF technology, and other high-value equipment.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have demonstrated experience performing component-level diagnostics and repairs on complex electronic or medical equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair aesthetic and medical equipment to manufacturer and company standards.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Repair and replace circuit boards, power supplies, displays, handpieces, internal components, and wiring assemblies.
- Conduct calibration, functional testing, and quality assurance inspections following repair.
- Maintain detailed service records, repair documentation, and testing results.
- Assist in developing repair procedures and quality control standards.
- Manage repair turnaround times while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
- Provide technical recommendations regarding equipment performance and recurring issues.
- Support inventory management of replacement parts and repair components.
- Must travel off site for repairs as needed.
Equipment Experience Preferred
Candidates with experience repairing the following types of equipment are strongly preferred:
- Medical Lasers
- Tattoo Removal Lasers
- CO2 Laser Systems
- IPL Equipment
- Radio Frequency Systems
- Ultrasound Devices
- Multifunction Facial Systems
- Aesthetic Treatment Equipment
- Biomedical Equipment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional equipment repair experience.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, electronics, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong soldering and component-level repair skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) experience.
- Medical device repair experience.
- Laser repair experience.
- Electronics Technology degree or equivalent technical training.
- Experience servicing aesthetic equipment manufacturers or distributors.

We are looking for a technician who can confidently take apart a high-value device, accurately diagnose the issue, perform the repair, thoroughly test the equipment, and return it to service with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate takes pride in technical excellence, attention to detail, and solving challenging equipment issues.
ONLY applicants with significant electronics, biomedical equipment, laser, industrial equipment, or related repair experience will be considered.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
