Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive, high-quality care in our outpatient clinic. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis, and long-term management of patient health, serving individuals and families across our rural community.

Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment

Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and routine screening examinations

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

Order, perform, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with clinical guidelines

Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care

Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up care as needed

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the medical record

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited residency program

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or related primary care field

Active Michigan medical license required
