Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Follow all clinical, regulatory, and agency standards.
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
