Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and recommend appropriate parts or accessories to enhance their vehicle performance.
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and updating stock levels using inventory management systems such as CMMS or POS software.
- Assist customers with order fulfillment, including processing sales transactions accurately through cashiering and POS systems while handling cash and credit payments securely.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to identify parts requirements based on automotive diagnostics and repair orders.
- Maintain organized storage of parts, ensure proper labeling, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain product features, warranty options, and maintenance tips to customers in multiple languages if needed.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new products to boost retail sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dealership or retail automotive parts sales is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service practices.
- Proficiency with inventory management tools such as CMMS or Microsoft Excel for tracking stock levels and order processing.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Familiarity with dealership operations, marketing strategies, and phone etiquette is advantageous.
