Nectarine Grove is looking for a high performing Professional Pastry Baker looking for a position as an AHB for our bakery team in Del Mar.

We are looking for high performers who will help us maintain our high standards while creating amazing baked goods, breads, donuts, and plenty more healthy creations. We use the best ingredients and are looking for the best people to help us grow.

Schedule- Shifts can vary between early morning and late afternoon depending on need of the bakery.
Pay is $23-25 per hour plus tips, which is usually about $2/hour.
Candidate must posses the following skills:
- Ability to work independently
- Professional scratch baking
- Ability to follow recipes
- Scaling, wet and dry ingredients
- High volume baking experience
- Ability to work high bread volume (Cookies, muffins, bars, baguette, buns)
- Ability to finish, decorate, frost baked goods
- Team Player
- Sense of Urgency
- Ability to multitask
- Great time management skills
- Positive attitude

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
- Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and special requests.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance overall kitchen efficiency.
- Ability to lead teams in stressful situations - This is a high volume job
