Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various hardscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and other outdoor structures that enhance the aesthetic and functionality of landscape projects. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, durable environments that meet client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation of hardscape features.
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting forms for concrete or stone installations.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to lay pavers, bricks, stonework, and concrete surfaces with precision.
- Install retaining walls, steps, pathways, patios, and other outdoor structures using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, sealing, and surface leveling to ensure durability and visual appeal.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure adherence to safety standards and design specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on site management tasks including material handling, fabrication, and site cleanup.
Experience
- Prior experience working in construction or landscape installation is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hardscape-specific skills such as masonry, concrete finishing, tile laying, and framing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics to accurately execute project plans.
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery used in construction sites.
- Background in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plastering, or restoration enhances your versatility on the job.
- Understanding of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes is a plus.
