We are looking for an experienced sponsorship sales professional to join our team and drive brand partnerships across our growing portfolio of festival and live music events.
Position Overview
The Sponsorship Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new sponsorship revenue, building strategic brand partnerships, and managing relationships with agencies, brands, and experiential marketing partners. This role is ideal for a proven seller with established relationships in the live music, festival, experiential, and brand activation space.
The right candidate will have a strong track record of selling sponsorships, integrated partnerships, and custom activations, along with the ability to identify opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell sponsorships and brand partnerships across Activated Events’ live music and festival portfolio.
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new sponsorship deals with brands, agencies, and experiential partners.
- Leverage an existing client rolodex and industry relationships to drive new business opportunities.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages, brand activations, and integrated partnership solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams on proposal development, pricing, inventory, deliverables, and execution.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and agency partners to drive renewals and long-term growth.
- Stay current on trends in live music, festivals, experiential marketing, sponsorship, and brand activation.
- Meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of sponsorship sales experience, preferably in live music, festivals, sports, entertainment, experiential marketing, or brand partnerships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Existing relationships with brands, agencies, and decision-makers in the sponsorship and activation space.
- Experience selling six-figure sponsorship packages or integrated marketing programs.
- Strong understanding of live event sponsorship assets, on-site activations, digital/social extensions, hospitality, and custom partnership opportunities.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and festivals.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
