American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital.

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Weekend work required on an as-needed basis

13-week contract

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

RRT credential required; CRT is not accepted

Active TN license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable); pending licensure is not accepted

Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience required (3+ years preferred)

Pediatric setting experience required

At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Driver's license required for consideration

BLS certification required; certifications expiring during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan

Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients at a Level I Trauma Center

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be approved

Travelers must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
