We are seeking an energetic and personable Hookah Lady/Guy to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of the lounge, responsible for preparing and serving hookahs with precision and flair while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hookahs, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and presentation according to safety standards and guest preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and answering questions about hookah flavors and accessories
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, including hoses, bowls, and charcoal trays, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
- Manage POS transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for billing and cash handling
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible service, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alcohol policies if applicable
- Assist in setting up the lounge area for events or special occasions such as banquets or private parties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights in a nightclub scene
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality, particularly in a nightclub, fine dining, or catering setting is highly preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or guests efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in serving or retail math for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior banquet experience or retail experience involving sales and cashiering is advantageous
