We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining store standards.
Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Review customer provided graphics and ensure final layouts
- Maintain a working knowledge of design offerings, die cutting, binding and various printing techniques
- Confirm the accuracy of all proofs
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs.
- Follow up with customers via phone and email to ensure satisfaction
- Stay up to date on modern typography trends
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Apply basic math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and inventory management.
Sales Associate Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with cashiering processes and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions.
- Experience in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining inventory levels is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers.
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively through engaging product demos.
- Basic math proficiency is required for retail math calculations related to sales transactions.
