Exact Staff is hiring for our client! We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting & Inventory Clerk to join a growing food manufacturing team in Sanger, CA. This position is ideal for candidates with entry-level accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative accounting experience who are comfortable working with inventory records, data entry, and financial documentation.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and enjoys working with numbers while maintaining accurate financial and inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Enter and maintain accounting, inventory, and production data with a high level of accuracy
- Process and reconcile inventory transactions within accounting and ERP systems
- Assist with inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation as needed
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and financial records using Microsoft Excel
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and inventory records for accuracy
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Prepare reports for management using accounting and inventory data
- Organize accounting files and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Accounting departments
- Ensure data integrity while meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial data entry required
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Experience with inventory transactions or inventory reconciliation preferred
- Experience using ERP, accounting software, or inventory management systems preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, sorting/filtering, pivot tables preferred)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Dependable attendance and professional communication skills
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $22/HR
- Schedule: Full-Time, temp-to-hire
- Shift Available: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
