Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Tea Barista to join our team. As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of premium teas and beverages to our customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of our tea shop, embodying our commitment to quality, flavor, and healthy options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold tea beverages, including bubble tea, in accordance with our recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering their questions about our teas, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of ingredients, including teas and fresh toppings.
- Operate and maintain tea brewing equipment, including ensuring the equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking and restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Handle customer transactions using our point-of-sale system.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain shop standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with bubble tea preparation.
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Creativity in developing new tea blends and recipes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
