Duties
- Prepare ingredients for dumplings, ramen, and other menu items following established recipes and standards
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, stoves, fryers, and steamers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Support menu planning by ensuring ingredient availability and freshness for daily operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles within restaurants or food industry settings preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills with slicing techniques that ensure efficiency and safety
- Familiarity with food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production environments
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment confidently and responsibly
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen team members
- Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is advantageous
- Demonstrated understanding of food handling procedures, recipe adherence, and sanitation protocols
