Texas Triggers USA is a rapidly growing company in the firearms industry, specializing in advanced trigger systems and precision components. We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team and play a critical role in manufacturing high-quality parts.
Position Overview
The CNC Operator / Machinist is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision firearm components. This role requires prior experience, strong technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure consistency, safety, and quality in production. This position will serve as the primary operator for our CNC machining operations, with full ownership of the machine and production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
- Monitor machining processes to ensure precision and quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting tight deadlines
- Keep a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Travel with the team to gun shows and industry events as needed
- Participate in product demonstrations, testing, and content creation
Required Qualifications
- Prior CNC machining experience (required)
- Certification or formal training in CNC machining preferred
- Examples include trade school certification, machining program completion, or documented on-the-job experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Additional Requirements
- Comfortable working around firearms and firearm components
- Comfortable being on camera for social media and promotional content
- Willingness to travel frequently for gun shows and industry events
- Comfortable handling and shooting firearms for testing and content
- Carrying on the job is optional but encouraged
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.)
- Knowledge of G-code programming and machine setup
- Experience working with aluminum, steel, and firearm-grade materials
- Background in manufacturing firearm components
