We are seeking a compassionate, resourceful, and experienced Service Coordinator to support residents. The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in helping residents maintain independence, age in place, and access community resources that enhance their quality of life. The position serves as a liaison between residents, service providers, healthcare organizations, government agencies, and property management. The Resident Services Coordinator works closely with property management staff to support resident needs while maintaining compliance with affordable housing program requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess resident needs and connect residents with appropriate supportive services and community resources.
- Assist residents experiencing health challenges, social isolation, housing instability, or barriers impacting independent living.
- Support residents in maintaining housing stability and aging safely in place.
- Maintain relationships with local agencies, healthcare providers, senior centers, nonprofit organizations, and service providers.
Senior Wellness & Community Programs
- Develop and coordinate resident programs.
- Coordinate health fairs, vaccination clinics, educational seminars, and resident events.
- Promote resident participation and reduce isolation among elderly residents.
Resident Advocacy & Support
- Provide information and referrals regarding public benefits and senior assistance programs.
- Assist residents with accessing community resources and service agencies.
- Coordinate wellness checks and identify residents who may require additional support services.
- Work collaboratively with management staff regarding resident concerns affecting tenancy and well-being.
- Work closely with property management to support resident communications and community initiatives.
- Assist with resident education regarding housing requirements and community policies.
- Support management efforts related to resident retention and successful tenancy.
- Maintain resident service records, referrals, and activity logs.
- Track resident participation and program outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Experience
Required:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in resident services, social services, affordable housing, senior housing, healthcare coordination, or related field.
- Experience working with elderly populations preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience with affordable senior housing communities, HUD programs, LIHTC, or housing authority programs.
- Knowledge of aging services and senior resources.
- Bilingual abilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
