Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Sun Tan Valley, AZ seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one support for a student in a school setting during the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity offers a consistent school schedule, no evenings or weekends, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in a student's daily health and educational experience.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP | Projected End Date: May 26, 2027
- Up to 33 hours per week
- School-hours schedule only
- Competitive pay of $42 to $46 per hour

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Wednesday (Early Release Day)
Hours are based on student attendance and support needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing support to a student throughout the school day
- Monitor and address the student's healthcare needs in accordance with physician orders and school guidelines
- Provide feeding assistance as needed
- Perform suctioning for a student with a tracheotomy
- Respond appropriately to student health concerns and emergencies
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies
- Support the student's ability to safely participate in the educational environment
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN or LPN license in good standing
- Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required prior to start date)
- Experience and must be comfortable providing tracheostomy care and suctioning
Preferred
- Previous pediatric, school-based, home health, or special needs experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
