Shifts: Days (7am-3pm) Evenings (3pm-11am) Overnights (11pm-7am)

Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. You will assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and help individuals achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist with community integration activities, including outings and social engagements.
- Implement individualized care plans and behavioral strategies.
- Encourage and empower individuals to achieve their goals and build life skills.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications or training in human services is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality.
- Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR Certificates required
