Job Summary
Are you a motivated and skilled occupational therapist with a passion for hand therapy and experience working with shoulder conditions? We are looking for an occupational therapist/certified hand therapist to join our doctor-owned clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized hand therapy services to patients recovering from hand injuries and conditions
- Evaluate and create individualized treatment plans for patients with shoulder conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Stay current on advancements in hand therapy and shoulder rehabilitation to provide the best possible care to patients
- Complete necessary steps for insurance coverage
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with hand to shoulders orthopedic injuries
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques related to occupational therapy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and other medical staff
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and family engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to develop care plans that align with individual goals while adhering to healthcare regulations and safety standards.
