Legacy Remodeling is a premium residential remodeling company serving Franklin County and Smith Mountain Lake. We build kitchens, baths, additions, and whole-home renovations for homeowners who care about craftsmanship and want a remodeler they can trust. We operate on kingdom values. We do not run a burnout culture. We plan to be doing this work for the long haul and we want the people on our crew to feel the same way.
The Role
We are hiring a Crew Leader to run jobs in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has years of experience, the skills to handle the toughest parts of a remodel, and the patience to lead a crew while doing it. You will report to our Project Manager and own the day to day on the jobsite. Quality, pace, safety, and the people working alongside you.
What You Will Do
- Lead a crew on remodeling projects from rough framing through finish work
- Execute the most skilled portions of the job yourself, including tile, framing, and finish carpentry
- Set the pace, the standard, and the tone on every jobsite
- Train and mentor less experienced crew members with patience
- Communicate clearly with the Project Manager and Leadership Team
- Take ownership of the finished product and stand behind your work
What We Are Looking For
- Highly skilled in tile, including waterproofing systems , shower pan construction, large format, and complicated layouts and patterns
- Strong framing skills, including walls, headers, and structural modifications
- Strong all-around remodeling experience across finish carpentry, doors, trim, and the full range of skills a residential remodel calls for
- Proven leadership experience with crews that have worked well under you
- Patient enough to teach. You can show a younger guy how to do something the right way without making him feel stupid
- Comfortable taking responsibility. When something goes wrong on your jobsite, you own it and fix it
- Reliable, drug free, valid driver's license

- We keep everything clean around here. Jobs cleaned at the end of every day. Company vehicles have trash thrown away daily and never are cluttered. We also keep our language and appearance clean. Those are non negotiables.
- We are a no smoking, no vaping company. That's anywhere on Legacy property. In company vehicles. On the job site. This is a good excuse to stop if you have in the past.
