Overview
The Westin Houston Downtown, located across the street from Daikin Park in Downtown Houston, is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to effectively solicit groups in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues. The hotel has 208 guest rooms, a four-story atrium lobby bar and several meeting room facilities.

Qualifications
Qualification Standards
Education & Experience:
- College course work in related field helpful.
- Two years of experience in hotel sales.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
