We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of agricultural equipment maintenance and repair, along with a valid Chauffeur's License to transport equipment and materials as needed. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, skid steers, sprayers, and other farm machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, diesel engine, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
- Transport equipment, parts, and materials using company vehicles in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining agricultural equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Valid Chauffeur's License (not required but Preferred).
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop or outdoor environment.
