Job Title: Assembler
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Dexter, MI 48130
Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble electronic and mechanical medical device components and subassemblies.
· Work with modules, circuit boards, panels, frames, cables, and related assemblies.
· Follow diagrams, schematics, process instructions, and visual work aids.
· Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment.
· Perform continuity checks, basic testing, and quality inspections.
· Rework, modify, disassemble, and reassemble products as required.
· Support prototype and experimental builds.
· Complete production documentation and records accurately.
· Maintain compliance with manufacturing and quality procedures.
· Assist with packaging, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling when needed.
Required Skills
· Assembly experience or strong aptitude for assembly work.
· Excellent hand dexterity and ability to work with small components.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
· Legible handwriting and documentation skills.
· Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
· Medical device manufacturing experience.
· Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
· Technical documentation or technical writing experience.
· Experience performing inspections and basic testing.
Education
· High School Diploma or GED preferred.
