What You’ll Do
As a 3rd Shift Plough Operator, you will help keep the Plough Line running safely, efficiently, and accurately. This position is responsible for operating assigned production equipment, handling raw product, supporting packaging processes, and maintaining quality and sanitation standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Operate assigned production and processing equipment
Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment
Fill and verify containers to meet required specifications
Operate labeling equipment and apply bands or seals to containers
Package finished product and stack product on pallets
Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as needed
Observe equipment and report maintenance concerns
Follow all company policies, safety rules, GMPs, and ISO procedures
Assist with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
What We’re Looking For
Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced assembly line environment
Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds continuously
Basic computer skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
Ability to maintain a forklift license
Strong attention to safety, quality, sanitation, and productivity
Reliable transportation and good attendance required
Work Environment
This position works in a production facility environment and may include exposure to airborne particulates, cleaning agents, confined spaces, and heights. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing setting and following all required safety and sanitation procedures.
