Data Skill Source is hiring an RFx Operations Contractor to support proposal and RFP execution for one of our enterprise SaaS clients. In this role, you’ll help manage and deliver high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and other strategic sales requests.
This is a great opportunity for someone with proposal, project, or sales-ops experience who enjoys coordinating across teams, managing deadlines, and shaping how a SaaS company presents itself to prospective customers.
What You’ll Do
RFx & Proposal Execution
- Support the end-to-end delivery of RFx responses (RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, etc.).
- Manage proposal timelines, milestones, and internal deadlines to ensure on-time submission.
- Track requirements, inputs, and open items across multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure all responses meet customer requirements and submission guidelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Consolidate inputs from subject-matter experts and resolve gaps or inconsistencies.
- Coordinate internal reviews and approvals as needed (legal, pricing, security, leadership).
Content & Quality Control
- Draft, edit, and refine proposal content such as executive summaries, cover letters, and standard responses.
- Improve clarity, consistency, and customer-focused messaging across proposal materials.
- Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards for formatting, grammar, and alignment.
Process & Documentation
- Maintain proposal trackers, documentation, and artifacts in shared tools and repositories.
- Follow established proposal governance and review processes.
- Contribute to improving templates, workflows, and content libraries over time.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in proposal management, project management, sales operations, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience supporting RFPs, RFIs, or complex B2B customer requests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
Working Style
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Process-driven but flexible under tight timelines.
- Able to synthesize complex or technical information into clear, customer-friendly responses.
- Professional and confident when working with Sales teams and leadership.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology companies.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools, CRM systems, or shared content libraries.
- Understanding of enterprise sales cycles or procurement processes.
- Experience editing or structuring technical or solution-oriented content.
