Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. We are currently looking for new teachers to join our staff for our next season starting August 2026. We are looking for teachers with strong dance backgrounds in ballet, jazz, tap, or hip hop. Ideally candidates are comfortable with teaching students ranging in ages 3-16.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging dance lessons and choreography for students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Demonstrate proper dance techniques and assist students in improving their skills
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a cohesive dance program
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them reach their full potential
- Ensure the safety of students during dance classes and performances
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dance Instructor or in a related role (especially work with young students)
- Strong knowledge of various dance styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
