We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys working with people, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care. If you’re a positive team player who is eager to learn and grow, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Assist alongside Dr. Omana during orthodontic procedures and patient appointments.
- Prepare and breakdown treatment ops and sterilize instruments.
- Take digital photographs, impressions, and X-rays (as permitted by certification).
- Fabricate specific orthodontic appliances in house
- Utilize Ortho2 practice management software.
- Operate a 3Shape intraoral scanner, or be willing to learn.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Help create a welcoming, organized office environment.
- Cross-train in different areas of the practice to support the team and expand your skills.
Qualifications
- Orthodontic assisting experience required. Experience with Damon or self ligating brackets preferred.
- Experience with Ortho2 software is a plus.
- Experience with a 3Shape intraoral scanner or any similar is preferred
- Lab experience is a plus, we are willing to train (specially fixed lingual retainers, RPE, IDB setups)
- X-ray certification or ability to obtain.
- Willingness to cross-train and learn new skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work well as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
