Duties
- Assist in implementing daily routines that promote infants’ physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure infants feel secure and loved
- Support classroom activities that stimulate sensory exploration, language development, and motor skills
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with lead teachers to observe and document each infant’s progress and milestones
- Engage with children through play-based learning, fostering social interaction and positive behavior management
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, needs, and developmental progress
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a flexible, energetic attitude
