Job Summary
RailMarketplace is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director to lead the administration of joint sourcing and benchmarking initiatives for its owners in the railroad industry. The position requires sourcing execution, supplier and contract negotiations, and managing ongoing supplier relationships. This leader will also be responsible for all financial requirements for the organizations.
Responsibilities
- Execute joint sourcing initiatives and manage the RFP process.
- Contract negotiation and management including all supplier communications to support long-term supplier partnerships.
- Lead formal benchmark initiatives.
- Complete the monthly Accounts Payable process, month end closing process, year-end closing process, completion of annual reports, annual budget work and insurance renewals.
- Complete all reporting requirements both internal and external to the organization.
- Manage all meetings, including project, weekly team and meetings of the company's Board of Directors.
- Represent RailMarketplace with professionalism in all partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, operations or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience developing relationships and working cross-functionally with all levels within and outside of an organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to complete monthly and annual financial requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- 10 years relevant experience.
- Preferred experience in sourcing.
- Preferred experience in the railroad industry.

Pay: $123,200.00 - $154,000.00 per year
