Overview:
Responsible for keeping equipment safe and operational, responding to breakdowns, preventive maintenance, plant projects, production jigs and facility projects.
This is a night shift position. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am (10 hours/day), Fridays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Resolves mechanical and minor electrical maintenance issues promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Follows all lock-out, tag-out procedures.
- Performs general equipment repairs, replaces defective parts, perform maintenance PM’s, electric motors, fuses etc. Supports production with jigs, fixtures etc. Building maintenance, lights, wiring, general repairs.
- Effective communications with team members and staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- Keep equipment and facilities in good working condition.

- Must be able to read and understand instructions and possess basic arithmetic skills.
- Must be able to stand for duration of shifts (8-12 hrs.).
Qualifications:
- Willingness to work an off shift and weekends, although hours and shifts can change based on business needs.
- Work performed in a manufacturing facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
- Prior military technical training and experience preferred. Vocational degree / certification preferred.
- Prior manufacturing maintenance or equipment installation experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Equipment installation, metal fabrication, welding, lathe, mill, CNC, heavy equipment, build maintenance repair, construction, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatics experience is preferred. Electrical experience with motors, panels, PLC’s, fuses AC/DC circuits preferred.
