Warm and Loving Full-time Nanny and Family Assistant

Location: Moss Beach, California.
Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Family appreciates a Candidate who can work later one evening per week. Family is open to a four day work week for the right Candidate.
Children: School-aged siblings: an elementary-aged girl and a preteen boy with neurodiverse needs (significant ADHD).
Duties: The duties include childcare, driving children, planning and attending activities and classes with children, helping with homework, cooking for children, family meal prep, grocery shopping, running errands, purchasing children's items, scheduling appointments, managing family calendar, vehicle maintenance, walking and taking dogs to appointments, and light housekeeping.
Requirements: The ideal Candidate is very loving, warm, energetic, confident, and able to set firm boundaries, yet also be kind and empathetic. Candidates must have professional experience or training, ideally in a classroom or clinical setting, in working with children with ADHD and autism; and/or a degree such as developmental psychology or a related field. Additionally, the ideal Candidate is proactive and pitch-in, an individual who can help the family with household tasks and keep the home running smoothly while the children are in school. Candidates must be comfortable with parents working from home and must drive; Family can provide a vehicle for use on the job. The ideal Candidate loves dogs and is happy to care for them. The family has a beloved large dog, and the ideal Candidate enjoys dogs. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID, MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccinations.
Salary: $45-$50+ per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications.
