Automotive Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and SUVs, focusing on either the GM or CDJR lineup (depending on your specific placement and specialty).
- Perform advanced engine and electrical diagnostics, transmission service, factory warranty repairs, brake/suspension work, and multi-point inspections.
- Work on brand-specific models as well as a wide variety of multi-brand pre-owned vehicles.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors, Parts Department staff, and management to keep turn times efficient.
- Complete repairs safely and accurately, maintaining high-quality standards to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.
Automotive Technician Requirements
- At least 2 years of automotive repair experience preferred (dealership, independent shop, or fleet experience all considered).
- GM Factory Certifications or Stellantis/Mopar Certifications are highly preferred, but strong general line technicians looking to become factory-certified are encouraged to apply!
- ASE certifications are a major plus.
- Must possess your own professional automotive tools.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a pride in your craftsmanship.
