HVAC Duct Installer Helper / HVAC Assistant
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking HVAC Helper to join our team. This position focuses primarily on ductwork installation, fiberglass duct board, flex ducts, duct modifications, and general HVAC installation assistance. The ideal candidate is willing to work in the field, learn new skills, and assist lead installers with residential and commercial HVAC projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic HVAC or construction experience who wants to grow within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of ductwork, flex ducts, and fiberglass duct board systems
- Help load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites
- Assist lead installers with HVAC system installations
- Measure, cut, assemble, and seal ductwork as instructed
- Help with attic work, crawl spaces, and other installation-related tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform other general labor duties as needed to support HVAC installation projects
Qualifications
- Experience with ductwork, fiberglass duct board, or HVAC installation preferred
- Construction experience is a plus
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in hot environments, including attics
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
